🌂 How To Use Dva Ult
Interactions with Dva makes sense, code wise, but isn't very intuitive. If you're baby Dva and you get nanoboosted and then go into mech, you will not keep the boost when in mech form. HOWEVER, if you get de-meched quick enough, you will still be nanoed (the ult continues while you're meched, but it's only linked to baby dva).
That would make sense, but if I saw the defence matrix icon in the kill feed, part of me would think dva actually ate an enemy hero Like the enemy dva uses call mech, but our dva used matrix and ate the mech
It would be cool if the ult charge got a small pink/purple outline too. Loads of other effects such as Anas Grenade, Sombras Hack and what have you implement their colour language on the edge of the screen and somewhere else so it would make sense for the bubble to do that, in a way that doesn't over crowd the UI.
Ultimate One of the most devastating ultimates in Overwatch 2, D.Va, will eject from the mech and will cause it to explode, killing off enemy players in the blast radius. This can be coupled with
Like u/HeatIce said, it's inconsistent. When D.va's ult goes off, it's emitting rays from the bomb, and checking if they contact the targets. If the ult is right next to the cart, most of this is deflected, however as the ult gets further away, it's more likely that some of the rays are going to cross directly under the payload.
By reading this Overwatch guide, you can learn the how-tos of playing D.Va and nerf the enemy team into oblivion! This guide has been broken into two main categories, Gameplay and Game Sense. Learning to succeed with a character in this game requires baby steps. First, a player will need to understand the core gameplay mechanics tied to a hero.
Overview of D.Va. D.Va is arguably one of the most difficult tanks to play in all of Overwatch. When D.Va starts in spawn, she controls (for gameplay purposes, is) a 600-health mech with close range weapons: Fusion Cannons, Micro Missiles, a movement ability: Boosters, and a protective shield: Defense Matrix.
That's the one he was referencing. This is one I used on defense, but the reverse direction. on defense you can just stand there guarded by the doors and launch it out the window up top. [King's Row] DVA Ult Locations - For Quick play and competitive! +3 - There is a video with this ult spot, and some more on King's Row. If anybody wants to
Obviously D.Va's job is often to soak up damage to take pressure off of main tank, but that's only one of her many many jobs. If she's sitting in front line and only doing that, she's a bad D.Va. At any given time, D.Va might be DMing in the front line, shooting to her own back line to help supports against flankers, helping her flankers kill
Dva barely does enough dmg to kill a moira or baptiste or zenyatta, and when you cant even kill a healer then youre in no place to get a dmg nerf. So stop being rude and dumb towards the poster of this complaint, theyre point is incredibly accurate and sadly hell would freeze over sooner than blizzard would start fixing the actual issues
Ideally I try to approach as much as possible by walking, and leave the boosters for the final surprise. Walk around walls, use cover and see how close can I get without taking damage. In dive comp, normally winston jumps first, so you don't need matrix until his bubble is down, you can use his bubble as a shield to fly together.
Dva can counter Ramattra if he’s not in Nemesis form. Typically, for heroes like Reinhardt and D.va who don’t have a way to defend against Nemesis form Ramattra, the best option is to usually bait it out and space him out (D.va can do this easily) or just go in and beat him down fist-to-fist.
The types of ults you can save your allies from are: Reaper’s Death Blossom (does high damage over time) Hanzo’s Dragons (does high damage over time) Pharah’s Justice Rains from Above (does high damage over time) Note: When you observe these ults being used, the HP bar of the targets go down quickly, not instantly, that’s what “damage
D.Va’s ult still has a “player” style hitbox, so it can’t be deflected or absorbed, but it can be CC’d (at least by some things) most commonly a Rein charge or a Hog hook. I have seen a video of a 'Hog hooking the ult, which didn't end well for the 'Hog in that particular clip. It was like trying to give a nuke a hug.
He does not know about the D.va bomb pact in our low ranks. Once you get out of lower ranks her ult becomes significantly less problematic unless the dva is just exceptional. You can use the push robot and payload to block her ult. Her ult is really only good on capture and even then dva needs to position it well.
